Avani Shah is a graduate from the faculty of fine arts, M S University, Baroda.
She has held many solo shows at the Exhibition Gallery, faculty of fine art, Baroda (2008), Hutheesing Visual Art Gallery, Ahmedabad(2008), Ajman Kempinski Hotel, Sharjah, UAE (1999) and Exhibition Gallery, faculty of fine arts, Baroda (1998), just to name a few.
She has also attended a workshop on paper pulp – making under John Babcock from the USA and her work “Skyscape I” was selected for the 104th all India airline art exhibition in the year, 1995 at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. Her paintings have also been selected for the Millenium All India art show organised by AIFACS and the Gujarat Lalit Kala Academy, in November 2000. |
