The artist seeks inspiration from the archives of paintings, sculptures and artifacts. He extracts particular objects from these archives and places them on his canvas in a traditional, yet very contemporary setting. He weaves the past with the present by superimposing more modernized objects over this background. He hence creates a kind of museum of his own fancy, infusing humor into his creation he cronicles history in his own fashion.
