Prasanta Kalita (B.1975)

"Prasanta Kalita has been greatly influenced by the FRESCOES OF KHAJURAHO.
In order to cater to the rapidly growing need of the individual in understanding the myriad textures of his dreams Prasanta has successfully created various captivating compositions accentuating the sculptural effect of his unique technique.
Prasanta’s dynamic sculptural figures have a harmonious integration of architectural stone textures which accent the rhythm of the bodies.
The dialogue that he has created with his sculptural human forms and surrealistic objects enable one to enter his dream world to fill an intellectual role according to his perception of reality". ~ Manish Pushkale, October 2007
