The artist’s main concern is the people and the environment. This top ranking Applied Art graduate from the Nagpur University of the 1991 batch has created his niche with his unique style of narrative of the rural folk,their intimate relation with the environ, human or animal and even beyond. The red mark on the forehead, invariably dripping down the nose on rather sad or withdrawn face with contemplative detachment, has almost become signature in his paintings and it draws attention as a unifying and harmonizing element between man, animal and super natural.
Even before completing his graduation Sachin is exhibiting in group and solo exhibitions since 1989 and has won several awards at the State level annual shows. He is based in Hyderabad.
