A glance at Lalu Prasad Shaw's paintings is enough to tell about his simplistic style that uses different motifs to enhance the characters, especially drawn from elite -Bhadra Lok- of the Bengali society. The couples or ladies are depicted with absolute economy of line and colors and yet the viewer can relate to them with intimacy.
His works are exhibited extensively and are in collection with some of the prestigious goernment bodies and private organisations.
